FAQ

What to expect?

- Our 9:30 a.m. Sunday service is a traditional service with communion normally served the first Sunday of every month. You do not have to be a member of St. Paul to receive communion. We let parents decide if their child is ready to receive communion.
- We have a handicap accessible entrance that has an "overhang" for inclement weather. It is located at our 8th St. entrance.
- We have parking available in the City lot off Broadway Street or in our parking lot off Ann Eliza Street.

What we believe?

-  We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and the Head of this church. We look to the scriptures and the power of God's Spirit to help us to live out our mission to demonstrate and share God's love, peace, mercy, and justice with all whose lives we touch and welcome.
-  We believe that the purpose of this church is to worship God, preach and exhibit the love of Jesus, and to celebrate the Sacraments of baptism and communion.
-  As part of the United Church of Christ we believe that "no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."
- And while we are part of a denomination and agree to partner with them in mission and ministry in our world, we are a congregationally organized church. That means we have a leadership team that is affirmed by the congregation each year. These leaders, along with the staff, work at the day to day operations in carrying out our mission.  The congregation is also asked to vote on items such as calling a new pastor, a yearly budget, and major capital expenses.
